This weeks staff member of the week is Mrs. Parker! Mrs. Parker is the administrative athletic assistant, and you can find her in the athletic office right next to the gym. Mrs. Parker grew up right here in Kennebunk, and she graduated from Kennebunk High School. She even worked at the local Shop n’ Save, which was the grocery store before the Garden Street Market. Growing up she had three older sisters and a younger brother, so it was always busy at her house. She has a son, Dave and a daughter, Emily. Dave is 18 and he is a senior here at KHS who loves to play hockey. Emily is 28 and was just recently married. In her free time she likes to sew, cook, and rescue dogs. Along with her busy job as the athletic administrative assistant, she is also the 2015 class advisor. Mrs. Parker says, “I love my job as administrative assistant and as class advisor, because I’ve known all the kids since they were little.” A fun fact about Mrs. Parker is that she loves potato chips or basically anything crunchy, and that she drinks a Pepsi Max everyday.
