Remembering Jacob Gould
Everyone has a story to tell about Jacob Gould for he was a true inspiration to each individual he touched. Few students at KHS possess the unwavering happiness and strength that he did. Rarely was Jacob found without a smile upon his face or a joke ready to be told. He had a way about him that could make a seemingly terrible day a little brighter. I will never forget the glimmer in his eyes when he was about to make a joke, or his ability to look for the bright side of any situation. He overcame much adversity, and his legacy will undoubtabley be carried on eternally. Not a day will go by without us remembering him. There will forever be a piece missing from the English wing during advisory and throughout the school as a whole.
Although this is a very sad time for our community, Jacob would not want us to hang our heads but pick them up, share a funny joke, and remember him for all of the good times and happiness he brought to us all. We will never forget you Jacob, Godspeed

Jacob was always ready for an adventure! Working with him at both the Middle School and Kennebunk High School Jacob never gave up on anything. Always looking for a way to spend some time outside we would bundle Jacob up and head for the field behind MSK and race up and down the field with a football. Jacob would always be hard to catch up to on “walking day” at MSK. Then summer school would approach and Jacob would want to know all about Montana because that was where he was going to visit his brother. Being from Montana and going there in the summers myself to help my family on the farm I told Jacob I would look for him. He would return in the fall and we would share our summer experiences in Montana. Jacob has made a difference in my life and I will treasure the memories of him.
