I am in several classes that require a textbook and my backpack is getting really heavy. Do I really need all this stuff?

Yes, I’d say you probably do need all of the stuff that you have been given. After all, the teacher knows best. Maybe try having two different backpacks, one for blue days and one for white days. Getting a locker is also a good solution to this problem, but may cause some extra walking, and you may be late for class. You could also try asking your teachers if you can leave the textbooks(s) for that class there on days that you don’t need it for homework or to study. In conclusion, there are many ways to avoid carrying all of your stuff at once, so be creative because you never know what awesome ideas you may come up with.
