Perfect Pies and Delicious Dishes
Everyone loves a great Thanksgiving dinner, but cooking those decadent dishes and perfect pastries is not the easiest task. If you have to cook something this season, it’s always good to have a few delicious Thanksgiving recipes that are pretty easy to bake.
Foolproof Pumpkin Pie
In my hunt for the simplest, tastiest recipes, I found the perfect pumpkin pie on the food blog American Heritage Cooking by Lindsey. Although I haven’t had a chance to try it, it’s safe to assume that, like every other pumpkin pie, it would be amazing. You can find the recipe on her blog and try it out yourself!
Crockpot Green Bean Casserole
Green bean casserole is my personal favorite dish at my family’s Thanksgiving dinner. It isn’t very difficult to make in the first place, but how much better would it be if you could just throw the ingredients into the crockpot? Family Fresh Meals’ author Corey knows. It’s bean my life’s dream to be able to make this tasty once-a-year treat even easier, and mom of three, Corey, has just made my dream come true. Her recipe, along with many other crockpot Thanksgiving dishes, can be found here.
Almost No-Bake Chocolate Cream Pie
Chocolate cream pie is one of the most popular desserts during the Holidays. Everyone loves pie, and a chocolate pie just makes that even better. Cookies and Cups author, Shelly Jaronsky, has a chocolate cream pie that only requires you to melt chocolate into milk (like hot cocoa!) and you can find her recipe right here on her blog!
Pull Apart Cheesy Bread
Think: dinner rolls get a revamp when you try delicious cheesy garlic pull-apart bread. The recipe was created by Leighanne Wilkes’, author of the blog Your Homebased Mom. Gone are the days of bland Pillsbury rolls as we welcome a new, more delicious way to get our fill of carbs. Just look to Wilks’ amazing blog for the key to a new, fun dish.
