We are happy to introduce Fynn from Germany, who is a foreign exchange student this year.   Fynn speaks fluent English, in addition to French, which has helped him smoothly transition to his new environment.  He already seems to be settling in well here at Kennebunk High School.  As he states, ¨The people are nice, the school is beautiful, and I like the sports.”  Fynn shared that he has enjoyed getting to know all the new faces in the hallway, and that he looks forward to seeing his friends when he comes to school.  When asked about his favorite aspect of student life, Fynn responded without a doubt: ¨ the football team, what else?¨ Fynn plays on the team, which is a unique opportunity for him because there are not many football teams to join in Germany.  Fynn is also sampling American food staples like pizza, while missing his favorite German food Schnitzel.

To conclude, Fynn seems to be getting along really well here at Kennebunk High School, and everybody is doing a great job in making him feel welcome and in showing him around. Be sure to say “hi” to him if you see him!
