Let’s Get Fruity

Reviewing Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Biddeford

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Biddeford has been a local hotspot among peers for the last few months, so my co writer Emilee and I decided it was time for Hangry Pants to see what the buzz is all about. When arriving at the new hangout spot we realized it is not only a drive-thru but a walk in place cafe. We chose to go inside and check out the atmosphere of the smoothie shop so we could tell you, our readers, what to expect. When you walk in you feel very relaxed and the open concept seating works in the small area. The staff who were working when we were there, were friendly, welcoming, and super patient while we deciphered the menu. Although the place is always raving with good reviews it was not overly crowded or busy when we stopped in around 3pm on a weekday. The menu has a range of options to choose from. You can pick from drinks to wraps to salads. The smoothies, unfortunately for peckish eaters, only come in one size, big. These smoothies are super filling and come in endless variety; fruity, green, mocha, and sweet are a few different flavors you can have in your smoothie. After ordering a few smoothies and a sandwich we only waited minutes before we were indulging ourselves in Tropical flavors and delicious chicken salad. All in all we give Tropical Smoothie a 9/10 review, only deducting a point because KHS students have to drive to Biddeford to get to it. Guess we can’t sneak out for a smoothie during our short lunch break.
