Welcome the Beauty of Spring With KHS IB Art Students, Opening Reception 4/9 5-7pm!
It´s a well-known fact that despite the hype of spring being a beautiful, sunny, and all-around gorgeous time of year, Maine rarely hits the mark. Usually, spring in Maine means rain and gray skies, with very few flora or fauna to speak of. Despite this, given the year we´ve had, it´s clear that people want to go out and enjoy aspects of life the pandemic has changed for us. That’s why you should consider going to the Kennebunk High School Senior IB Visual Arts students´ live art show on April 9th. The show will take place at “The Loft” at Quest Fitness and is located at 2 Livewell Drive, Kennebunk ME from 5 pm-7 pm, and is sure to help brighten those rainy and gray spring days. As a health precaution and to meet Covid guidelines, it’s important to note that “The Loft” is a large open space with ventilation, and masks will be required. The show will feature the artwork of Phebe Grant, Hope Hoffman, Taylor Creech, Sarah Durham, and Danny Mereness. Their medium ranges widely from photography to acrylic, watercolor, and oil painting to digital, as well as printmaking, and mixed media.
It´s been a long and stressful year, so go out and enjoy some art, support your peers, and help to make your dingy Maine spring flourish into something beautiful.
