If you didn’t already know, KHS is putting on a production of Disney’s Newsies. The story of a 17-year-old boy named Jack Kelly and the other newsies of New York. It is loosely based on the Newsboy Strike of 1899 in New York City. As someone in the production, it has been great to work with the rest of the cast to produce something people will enjoy. The songs are incredible from “Seize the Day” to “Santa Fe”. You will most definitely get hooked on the melody and lyrics of every song. The choreography is so high energy that people watching will want to get up and dance with us! One great thing about the show is that anyone can watch and enjoy it. There is a lot of singing and dancing (since it is a musical), but there are also scenes such as a fight scene.
