If you didn’t already know, our theater department is putting on Monty Python’s Spamalot as the fall musical. Spamalot is the musical version of the movie Monty Python and The Holy Grail. The plot follows King Arthur, played by senior Crow Lowery, and his servant Pasty, played by junior Avery Rossics, as they recruit knights and ultimately go on a quest for the Holy Grail. Seniors Cassie Midgley and Quinn Downing play Sir Lacelot and Sir Robin respectively. Senior Erin McNeilly takes on the role of The Lady in the Lake. Junior Noah Hammond portrays the long-haired Sir Galahad, and sophomore June Holmes plays Sir Bedevere. There are many more in the cast, and Spamalot might have the largest cast the theater program has had in a while. These whimsical knights experience the Voice of God and even try to tackle Broadway. Some notable characters include King Arthur, The Lady of the Lake, and the world-famous Not-Dead-Fred. Anyone who is anyone will be there. Rumor has it that our newest vice principal, Mr. Cherry, will make a guest appearance in the show.
You’ll have to come to find out. Come witness this laughable comedy on November 2nd – 4th at 7 p.m. and November 5th at 2 p.m.
