On Halloween, there was a costume contest in the KHS cafeteria. Many students dressed up for a chance to win a free yearbook. Other prizes such as gift certificates were also given out to winners. Teachers also participated in the event. Mrs. Stockbridge was dressed as a spider, and Mr. Dupuis was dressed as a priest. Costumes ranged from bananas, to the joker, to a traffic light that looked pretty realistic. The students all followed Mr. Dupuis to walk around the cafeteria so the judges could get a good look at all of the costumes in order to decide on the winners. Here were the results:
Overall: Will Eagleson & Izzy Esch- Pilots
Most original: Faith Flynn – Home-made vacuum
Funniest: Mikey – Power ranger
Scariest: Denzel Walker – The Joker
Best teacher: Anne Stockbridge – Spider

Overall, this year’s costume contest proved to be a neat experience with several participants joining in the fun.
