This week Beth Keezer was selected to be our teacher of the week.  Mrs. Keezer teaches business and computer courses and she is also the online IB coordinator.   Her first job was at dairy queen making ice cream and serving the customers.  When asked what her favorite thing is about KHS she answered by saying “I enjoy teaching here because the kids here are nice, and I want to help them learn so they can make a difference one day”.  Mrs Keezer has two daughters Lindsay and Alisha and a granddaughter named Olivia.  She enjoys spending time her family.  Her favorite thing to cook is homemade pizza, and says cooking is something she enjoys doing very much.  When I asked her why is it important to teach what you do, she replied “It’s important because it’s for the future of our students and it is important that we teach them these skills to use later on in life.”  Mrs. Keezers classroom is a pretty casual place which is a plus because it doesn’t add any other stress to her life which, she says is good.  Mrs. Keezer and her husband met when they were in middle school and had dated off and on throughout college.  She is now married to him and said that when he was younger he was a great baseball player.  The last thing that was asked was what was one interesting fact that you want people to know about you.  She answered by saying that “believe it or not, I am certified to teach dance.”
