Mason Jar Heart Valentines

It’s that time of the year again where the newest 50 Shades Darker has been released, and love is in the air. Valentine’s day is a great day to show your love and appreciation for someone special to you. Here are a few ways to spice up your holiday.

Mason Jars:

Who doesn’t love Mason Jars? Whether it’s to drink out of or to incorporate into a crafty gift, they are always appealing to the eye. You  can put gummy worms inside and attaching a card on the front saying “Hooked on you..” or fill it with starbursts and saying “You make my heart Burst.” Another creative idea would be to cut out white shape hearts saying “I love you because…” on each one and filling it with heart shaped chocolates.

Open When Letters:

Open When letters have a different title on each envelope, and they are only opened when you “need” or are feeling that way. For example; “Open when you need a hug” or “Open when you’re missing me.” A good addition would be to include a variety of things in each letter.

Candy Tackle Box:

The supplies you need to make a candy tackle box are simply easy. Buy a tackle box and a mix of all of the sweets you wish to give. For example, if you buy gummy worms, gummy sharks, and swedish fish, etc. Then you can write “Hooked on you” on the top of the box. It’s a fun way to give a simple, but tasty gift.

Pretzel Buttons:

Pretzel buttons are a quick and easy treat. In order to make these you will need to get square pretzels, hershey kisses, and a bag of M&M’s. First lay the pretzels on a cookie sheet, then unwrap all of your hershey kisses and place one on each of your pretzels. Next, put them in the preheated oven for approximately 1-2 minutes so that the chocolate melts. Take them back out and place an M&M on the middle of each of the chocolates.
