Fall is the time of year when leaves start changing their colors to red, orange, and brown. People start spending more time with their loved ones and enjoying seasonal drinks and dishes.
I managed to catch up with a fellow student at KHS, Alainah Cerrone-Patterson and asked her some questions about what she loves about fall, and some silly others.

After our conversation, I realized a lot of people would likely give the same or similar answers. I began to wonder just how much of these fall favorites Americans are consuming. So I leave you with some interesting facts:
Apple Pie is indeed Americans favorite pie. Followed by Pumpkin and Pecan.
The market for pumpkin spice products is projected to be 1.1 Billion dollars in 2025. Up 10% each fall.
Pumpkin, apple, caramel, and maple are the top selling ice cream flavors in the fall months.
And last but not least:
The warm, spicy, cozy fall candle scents activate neurotransmitters that promote relaxation.
We likely could all agree, fall is definitely a very favorable season. Hopefully you’re all enjoying it!
